Reclaim Yourself - Retreat for Mums.

Chiddingstone, Kent. 12th - 13th March 2022.

The only one-night retreat designed especially for mums.
Go back to nature and enjoy a space to reconnect with yourself.

Are you ready to invest in your own well-being?

How are you really feeling, mama? Are you tired and overwhelmed by the whole load of responsibilities that have been thrown at you since you become a parent? Do you find you no longer have time for yourself?

The transition into motherhood is profound and it ripples through every part of our lives. However, in modern times, there’s very little time for women to adjust to this big transformation and to reconnect with who they are now as mothers.

Our Retreat for Mothers is exactly that. A space for you to Reclaim yourself.

Get out of the juggle of being a mum, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a successful professional - and just be you. Have some proper ‘me-time’. Phones down, Netflix off, just you and a safe space in close contact with nature to explore what’s in your heart and who you are now that you are a mother.

You will leave behind what no longer serves you and get back to yourself feeling recharged and renewed.

You’ve been caring and looking after others for too long. It’s time to invest in your well-being and the rewards will ripple through your whole family. Come and join us in this healing journey, mama.

At this retreat you will:

  • Have time for yourself and to connect with other beautiful women.

  • Love carved in a log

Support your well-being which will ultimately benefit your children and your whole family

  • Learn tools and techniques to take back into your everyday life that will help you connect with yourself whenever you need to.

  • Let go of what’s holding you back and reconnect with your inner power through a carefully planned holistic programme.

  • Nourish your body and soul with delicious healthy food and holistic healing activities.

Following the success of our Autumn retreat. We are happy to bring you once again the only one-night retreat for mothers in March 2022. As mothers ourselves, we know how hard it is to take time off for yourself, particularly when that means leaving little ones for the night. That’s why we have created a special one night retreat just for mothers.

Our programme has been carefully planned to experience in one-day different holistic practices that will tap into ALL the things you need to recharge yourself, reconnect you to your inner power, start releasing what’s holding you back and what gives you the ultimate... DEEP REST! Think of a 2-day journey in a whole day of nourishment.

Is this retreat for me?

If you are a mother, this is for you. Whether you are looking to heal, reconnect with yourself, have a night of unbroken sleep or simply would like to spend a day and a night away in nature with other mamas.

This is not just a yoga retreat; while we do have yoga sessions in the programme, this is certainly not our only focus. We will also dance, share and listen, practice mindfulness and guided meditations, journal and heal through many different holistic practices.

You don’t need any previous experience in yoga or meditation, just an open mind and your curiosity.

This retreat is particularly useful for mums of little ones between 0 to 3 years old.

Upgrade to 2 nights

You can go for extra relaxation by upgrading to 2-night accommodation; arrive on Friday and have the afternoon for yourself. Explore and enjoy the grounds, read a book, enjoy a delicious dinner and an early night before we get started with our retreat activities on Saturday morning.

Your Hosts Emma & Jazmin

Meet Emma Deery

Emma Deery is a Holistic Motherhood Wellbeing Mentor, Yoga Teacher (specialising in Emotional Freedom Yoga and Pre and Postnatal Yoga), Mama Dance Teacher, and a Mother. She helps Mothers heal, grow, and re-birth themselves in the swamps of early motherhood so that they can be the Mother and women they long to be.

‘Motherhood is a monumental transformation. I believe it cracks you open and presents an opportunity to relearn yourself; to let go of old conditioning and past hurts, and become a fully-empowered, whole woman. But this process is painful, and it takes an array of tools to support and enable this growth.’

Emma Deery.

Meet Jazmin

Mother of 2 and founder of The Mothership London and The M List. Health and Wellbeing directory. Jazmin has made it her mission to help women have a different transition into motherhood. One where her needs are as important as those of their babies.

As an advocate for mother’s well-being, Jazmin shares through The Mothership how practising self-care and putting herself first has positively impacted her own motherhood journey.

Women are thrown into motherhood with no awareness of what it means to become a mother, often experiencing feelings of shame, guilt and self-judgment. What mothers are going through is perfectly normal and we need more safe spaces for them to feel held and supported as they go through this profound life change.’

FAQs

I don’t have anyone to join me. Will I feel out of place on my own?

No way. Many women come by themselves. You will be meeting other women going through a similar journey in a safe and supporting environment. We’ve made sure there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with others and you might actually start building a new friendship.

I’ve never practised yoga or mindfulness before, will it be difficult for me to follow the sessions?

Not at all. All our sessions are designed for women with or without previous experience. All you need is to bring an open mind and curiosity to make the most out of the retreat.

I'm worried about COVID. What measures are you putting in place?

We want to make sure we all stay as safe as possible. We’ll be asking all attendees to show proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken up to 48 hours before the retreat.

We’ll make an additional effort to keep areas well ventilated and weather permitting organise some of the activities outside. Additionally, all areas will be sanitised before your arrival and sanitising gel will be available throughout the venue.

How do I get to Bore Place?

Bore Place is located in Chiddingstone, Kent. Nearest mainline stations: Sevenoaks or Tonbridge. The Nearest Station is Penshurst, with frequent connections to Tonbridge and Redhill. Hildenborough and Hever stations are also about five miles away both have direct services to London.

Are babies welcome to join?

I know it’s hard to leave the little ones behind, especially if they’ve recently started nursery and they’re experiencing some separation anxiety. However, we want to make sure you get a chance to disconnect from the mothering activities and get a real opportunity to reconnect with yourself, so babies will have to stay with dad or another designated carer.

I’m very confident this is going to be worthwhile while mama and you’ll be able to go back home feeling recharged and with more patience to parent your little ones!
